Is the gold trim embroidered or beaded?
It's beaded. But I don't really like the gold, I like the silver better.

I said No. I don't know, I think the dress is nice, but I'm not really feeling the gold detailing. I would like less gold. I think the design is nice though.
ETA: The train is also another thing that I'm not sure about. I tend to like trains that are completely attached to the dress. But this is something that I think one person may love and another person might hate.
Have you tried on the dress yet? How did you like it? The most important thing is that you like the dress. In addition, sometimes pictures do not do justice to a dress. When I showed my cousin the dress I wanted she said 'I don't like it' (yep, just like that). But when I tried the dress on, she was like 'I love it' and to tell the truth that meant a whole lot because I knew she wouldn't have said it looked good if she didn't really meant it. (But, even if she saw the dress on me and still didn't think the dress look good, I would have gotten anyways because I LOVED it).

Yeah, I think the white and silver would look nicer. I guess the gold softens up the look a lttle. If you wanted to soften it up (sometimes white is too bright) do you know if it comes in ivory (or off white) and silver?

I tried on the ivory with the gold accents and I wasen't feeling it. I saw a white one with white emb. & beads with silver accents. I couldn't try that one on because it was someones. It looked really pretty on but I just want to make sure. I think it's very different.

I really like it a lot - and I can imagine that the silver will look beautiful!
I love the train in the back - it's so soft and romantic - and original!!
+ consider that this dress probably doesn't weight a ton, so even with the train up you'll be able to move around easily!

It's actually very light, not heavy at all. I am looking for a place that carries the white so we will see......
