What do you think of this favor idea

I am a graphic designer and i was thinking that for our favor i would design a front and back cover for a CD and then make up discs of memorable songs for the wedding. i.e. our wedding song, father and daughter dance, groom and mother dance, and so on. Do you think this is a good idea?

thanks

I think it's a great idea, especially since no two weddings will have the exact same thing! Your favor will always be original!! I am not as creative though!! Great idea!

Honestly, I think it's just an okay idea. I've gotten favors like that and, well, most of the time I don't care about someone else's wedding songs enough to listen to it ever again. Sometimes there'll be one or two songs that I'll rip onto my computer, but most of the time it's going to be useless to me. JMO.

see i feel any favor we give will be pointless ... i know i never use any favor i get from weddings or showers!!! ... thats why my main favor are dontations to charities!!

I'm not a fan of this type of favor only because everyone's taste varies and while what you may think is a CD-worthy song others may not.

I've always been a fan of either edible favors (we did chocolate brown take out containers filled with Hershey kisses which for us has special meaning) or donations.

I love it!!! We're going to do a CD too, we're music people!!! I'd like to use one of our e-pics for the cover of the CD, but we'll see after we take them.

My sister did a CD too for her wedding almost 3 years ago, and everyone commented how much they loved it, she put a lot of classic love songs on hers. I plan to use more funky music then her, but that's just b/c it will be more our taste. If you like it, DO IT!!

I like it! We did that for my parents 25th wedding anniversary suprise party. Almost everyone invited was around their age, 50ish, so we put songs on there from their generation. We also included their wedding song, but it was a nice gift because it was songs you dont hear everyday on the radio anymore that the guests would enjoy. My parents loved it too!
