What do you think of this for a favor?

What do you think of this for a favor?

A) Do you think this is 'doable?'
B) Do you think it looks cheap?
C) Should I write ON the ornament, or tie a ribbon with the wedding information to the top of it?
D) Would you like receiving this?

I plan on filling these ornaments with sand and small shells (beach reception), and writing 'Sarah and Joe's Wedding - The Crescent Beach Club' 'November 12, 2006'.

I would tie burgundy ribbon to the top, and wrap them in nice white or clear boxes with our wedding label attached to the outside. These should cost about 100 bucks to make! Not bad! The guests will ALSO be going home with candy from the candy buffet, a long stemmed rose (for the ladies), cigars (maybe) for the guys, matchboxes, the little bell placecard holders and a scratch off lottery tickets (as part of the placecards).

Edited to actually show you the ornaments! (duh! lol). They're 1.99 for a box of 6!

I think its a cute idea - I would recommend tying the ribbon to the top, since I think then people might remove it to hang it on their tree, whereas if you had your name/date on it, only those closest to you might hang it.

great... I just went to buy them from this site, and they're not available. They come from out of country, and are a 'seasonal' item. . I'm having NO LUCK getting the clear glass ornaments! Anyone have another site that has them IN STOCK?

This ornament is really light so i'm not sure how it'll hold up when you put sand and shells.
You might want to try one out first.

Plus, it might break quickly..
