What do you think of this idea?

I have been thinking for a while of geting some pale colored flowers embroidered on to the back of my 3-tier veil.

Have anyone ever seen this? What do you all think?

Re: What do you think of this idea?

I don't like it. I think the veil is gorgeous by itself.

Re: What do you think of this idea?

It really all depends on the dress. But I guess if its something that you really like, go for it!!

Irene -- are there flowers or embroidery on your dress?

Kimberly, have you ever seen it done before? I havne't. In my mind it seems like it would be beautiful, but I have no idea how it would look in reality.

By dress is below. There is very little detailing on it. Do you think it would take away from the dress?

Re: What do you think of this idea?

I haven't seen one in person but what I am picturing in my head I don't think I like it. Just did a search on flower embroidered veils. Here are 2 pictures. Is this what you are talking about?

Re: What do you think of this idea?

Irene your dress is gorgeous and the back corset is a showstopper. Definitely no embroidery on the veil. The dress is stunning and that should be the focal point. JMHO.

Re: What do you think of this idea?

I agree that the dress should be the focal point. And it is beautiful. If you decide to go with any embroidery on the veil, I would suggest sticking to just a little bit of flower embroidery in the same color as your dress. I think other colors would detract from the dress.

Oh, I don't like that at all. Hmmm. Ok, forget it them. I don't think it works with the dress now that I see it. Thanks ladies.

Irene:
I do not think it would look bad except I have to agree -- the back of your dress is killer and I would not want anything to block its view!

Re: What do you think of this idea?

Just wanted to say I love your dress. It is very similar to mine. Who is the designer? As for the veil, I say keep it simple. You don't want to take away from the dress.

Thanks. It's Olympa by Maggie Sottero. I love the dress. It was the first one I tried on, but the one I ran to after I tried on all the rest.

Mine is a Maggie too! I just fell in love with the corset back. Mine was the third one I tried on.
