What do you think of this setting for my ering?

I've always loved halos and split shanks. I just hope it's not too trendy. Thoughts?

That was what I originally wanted. Its beautiful. Then I reconsidered b/c I heard of the small diamonds falling out and that those rings are very delicate. I am way to hard on my jewlery so I opted for a simple soltaire... told him to put all the money into the diamond.

It depends on whats best for you though.

I second this thought.

it's a pretty ring, and i don't really think of it as that trendy, but what would give me pause is what kind of wedding band would you wear with it? i think that style looks better as a stand-alone ring, maybe as a RHR even possibly with a gemstone center.

then again, i like things very simple. which is why i wanted a solitaire

that's just what I was thinking.....not sure how you would find a band to match!
