what do you think of this song for father/daughter song?
Ok, so I think some of you know that I wanted to find a song for my father/daughter dance that I could sing and have recorded b/f the wedding for my dad. I started singing b/c of my dad and its always been our bond, but I also wanted an original song, something that we can add to our list of songs that our special to us. So I was searching and I found this song by garth brooks, its called It was Your Song:

I'm not a huge fan of country music, but I figure since I'll be singing it it won't have that country sound to it...also I was going to play it on the piano, so I could change some chords and stuff. My question is, do you all think that this sounds like a father/daughter song????? and do you think its dumb for me to change it? or should I just find something else?
