Each guest would get a striped coffee mug from pier one with a bag of gourmet coffee that says on it 'The Perfect Blend - - -Kimberly & Michael - Oct. 29, 2005'
I would probably put them all in white bags on a table for people to pick up on their way out.

I love the idea but I think a solid color mug may be nicer. My cousin did that for her shower. She used the mugs that are bigger and round like the ones they drink out of on Friends. I use the mug all the time for soup and my coffee.

I think people are over-analyzing. Who cares if some people already have a favorite coffee mug or if others don't drink coffee etc (use it as a pen holder). You will never find a favor that will please 100% of the population. I think it is a very cute idea, one of the better ones I've seen on here. Go for it!

I agree, I personally would never throw out a coffee mug or a bag of gourmet coffee(and most favors I do end up throwing out)this is something I think most people can use.
