What do you think of this......I am I being a B!&ch UPDATED!!

Ok...we went to put some more on our registry last night. OMG the woman gave us such an attittude!!!! First of all there was NO ONE THERE last night and I asked to put the napkin rings from our casual china pattern onto our registry. The woman was like 'well are they already on here..?' So I was like no thats why I am asking you. My FI had printed out everything that goes along with the pattern from the store's website because the store only carries certain pieces....and the napkin rings are not in the store so this bimbo had to look it up on the computer and was ANNOYED! Now all of the other registry employees were trying to look this up to....so I am guessing this woman is completely incompetant (sp?) So fine she puts it on and then we get a scanner to scan stuff that is on in the store. So when we were done with the scanner I told my FI that I refused to be helped by the witch again so we waited until she was helping someone else. So we were helped by the man who worked there who was so helpful AND AS HE WAS HELPING US MY FI OVERHEARD THIS WOMAN TALKING ABOUT US ON THE PHONE!!!

So today I am getting on the phone with this store because this is BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry this was sooooo long...BUT I AM SO MAD

I would be mad too!! That is horrible customer service....I say this all the time, 'if you have an employee in a customer service type job, if you rather not be bothered with someone's questions, you should not be working there'

I would definately call the store this morning & explain what happened & tell them that it was very RUDE of their own employee to be so nasty & also be talking about you on the phone

Talking about us on the phone is just the kicker!!!! I mean I usually think that people are being rude and my FI tells me its in my head BUT he was the one who was like...OMG she was talking about us on the phone

You are 100% right to be angry and annoyed. My family has been in retail for over 50 years and if anyone of my fathers workers ever treated a customer that way, they would be fired on the spot.

The odds are that she (salesperson) will simply be reprimanded. So make it worth your while. Give yourself time to cool down and collect your thoughts - write them down if you must in the form of an anecdotal record of your experience.

I would then call the store to ask when and if the manager of the store or department will be there. At that time, return to the store and articulate your problem in person. I suggest this because if a manager SEES how upset you are, then there is a strong likelihood that they could hook you up with something like perhaps a gift certificate, something from your registry, or some sort of discount.

It is always better to this type of thing face to face if you can. If after meeting with the manager, you feel as if you have accomplished nothing, then write a scathing letter. I have done this in other situations and it has been helpful to me. Never feel bad about it. If you were made to feel so bad, then no one can ever invalidate your feelings.

Remember the customer is always right.

did you call yet... let us know what happens!! i would totally call too!!!

i once had a huge problem with a lady at the airport... my bag was damaged on the plane and i went to go claim it... she yelled and screamed at me to basically go away... so i called to complain about her... it turns out i was only one of a bunch of complaints about her, and once they heard my story, it was the final straw and she was fired... i would feel bad about getting someone fired, if i was the only person who had that experience with her, but apparently I wasnt...so it always pays to call.. plus i got a brand new piece of luggage and some $$ for anything that might have broke in my bad... so iit was worth calling!!!

Well, sometimes people just have bad days. But it was completely unprofessional for her to be talking about you. I think you might just want to leave it alone though, calling just might give you more of a headache.

She was completely unprofessional. If she had a bad day(Lord knows we all do)...she should not let it interfere with work. How rude! I certainly would not want to be helped by her either. This should be a fun experience for both you and your FH. I would have complained on the spot. Definately call the store and tell them how disapponted you are with the customer service in Registry and give them her name. They are getting a lot of business from brides. No bride or groom or everday customer deserves to be treated that way. Best of Luck to you.

Hi Ladies...

Took some action throughout the day...

When I woke up I e-mailed the head place because I found the bimbo's business card in my registry stuff...I wrote the whole stry

Then later on...
I called the central number and they told me to call the store manager.

Oh and guess what came in the mail today...a questionaire about the bridal registry.

I can't really say the same of the store on here I guess but if you want to know FM me.

GOOD FOR YOU!!! I bet they do right by you as they certainly do not want angry brides running around LI saying how horrible their service is. I read once that there are 10,000 bride on Li at any given moment. That is a lot of people!!!

That is really rude. And you're right, talking about you on the phone is definitely the kicker. I would definitely be upset if I were you.

I worked in retail awhile back and realize its not the greatest job but suck it up...dont come into work if youre not in the people person mood,, its not your fault she's having a bad day.. Good for you for sticking up for yourself and the rest of us registrees!!!
