What time are you starting? I don't think it's too late. I think the people that will really care can just leave and you will have so much energy it won't matter!!

reception w/ CH from 8-1. the most we could back it up is 7:30-12:30 i'd feel bad if there was a mass exodus @ midnight...

Its not too late at all!! We dont start our CH till 730 and we end at 1 (mostly bc its a friday), but people will stay, the longer your day, the better!!!
