I really dont know how girls are getting such low prices...the quotes I have received are much higher. I've only gone to two places...so here are my estimates. I really think it depends on what you are looking for. I've had friends that told me they got great prices...and then I saw their CP...and 90% of it was leaves and babies breath. I am asking for my pieces to be all flowers and no 'filler'
Brides bouquet - $175
throwaway bouquet--no charge
1 MOH and 5 bridesmaids - $90 each
Flowergirl - small natural grapevine basket filled with flowers to match the bridesmaids $35 -$45
6 groomsman and 1 ring bearer -- $8-$10 each
Bride & Groom's mother - a nosegay of blooms in cream and white $25-$35 ea
3 Grandmothers - corsage of three ivory garden roses $16-$20 ea
church flowers - $125 ea - $250
centerpieces - low in rustic baskets -- $85 -$140
cake flowers - $75-$100
escort table - large basket to match table pieces $125 -$250
flowers for ladies room - a piece to match table pieces no charge
those prices are def high.. what kind of flowers are u getting
this is what was in the contract... flowers in autumn shades of burgundy, red, orange and other flowers to match. opened forever young, black baccara and milva roses; burgundy hydrangea; seeded eucalyptis, burgundy hypericum berry; rover, garnet king, orange alstromeria etc.
my mom told me the quote was ok...i havent booked anything yet...so feel free to tell me it's insane : )
It seems like my bouquet prices are ok...the cps are just a bit high
I would suggest shopping around. I just think that price for a low cp is way too high.
Flowers by Brian just quoted me approx $114 per CP. But was clear that was an approximate -- depending on the size. I'm so confused. I wish I could hire a coordinator for all this stuf!! Am I going to too pricey places? I also called LA Blossom...she said her low pieces went from $85 and up based on my flower description. I figured $85 was for a very small CP.

I think you got quoted so much due to your variety of flower choices. When you choose so many different types of flowers, the florist cannot order wholesale and therefore charges you a premium.
