Re: What do you think this will cost? Help!
I would say probably 3k just on account of the chuppah...if you go to Burton's. Maybe? I'm at a loss with flowers too, I just don't understand how they can charge so much for them.

Do you think there is anyone I could hire for a chuppah other than a florist??? I hate how they overcharge for everything.

If money is such a big issue then you can do a traditional chuppah which means there are no flowers on it. You will build it from 4 branches (as the poles) and 2 tallit as the canopy. You use your father's/grandfather's tallit so the cost is quite low.

I would budget around 500 for the chuppah (simple just a few bunches of flowers). I looked around and that was the going rate. For low centerpieces I would say btw 75-95 each. Hope that helps.

A chuppah is a canopy traditionally used in Jewish weddings. It consists of a cloth or sheet, sometimes a tallit, stretched or supported over four poles, or sometimes carried by attendants to the ceremony. A chuppah symbolizes the home the couple will build together. Chuppah literally means a canopy or a covering.
