So my BFF, who got married this November, was explaining to me that everything is the same after the wedding between them and usually that's how it is. Well I feel the same, I don't think anything will change, we already pretty acting like a married couple and do/decide/live together. so i think the only thing that will change is that we going to start planning new things, other than the wedding - buying a house, having kids. Wedding for me is just a big party to feel like a star for a day. I asked FH the same, and he thinks that it will be better (he's is def the romantic in this relationship). he thinks that it will solidify us, nothing in his opinion will change between us, we will still fight laugh and argue over philosophical existential issues (ye we totally do that ), but we will be this official one unit.
So what do you guys think?

We already live together, so I don't think anything will change.
I think things will change when we have kids though.

I think a lot will change and we will have been together 9 years when we get married. We don't live together yet and just in a year of being engaged we have discover so much more stuff. It's definitely exciting but also a learning experience. I do think being married will make us closer and solidify everything. Almost every bride I know does say they felt closer to their husbands after they were married, so I am looking forward to this.

Well we don't live together, but have been together for 7 years. So the living together aspect will definitely be a change, but we're actually moving in together about 3 or 4 mts. before the wedding. I look sooo forward to it!! I can't wait
I dont know about other girls, but for me and FH nothing changed and we moved in after only 2 months of dating. everything was the same only we came to the same place instead of coming over each others' house
Same here!!! Nothing between us changed at all. Once we moved in together I did change, however, in one aspect. I learned to cook more b/c unlike what he was used to, my mom's idea of cooking was picking up the phone to order take-out.
