i would def say $$ too... prob $100-150 if they are having it at a place.. depends really on how fancy the party is...a friend of the family just had hers at a really nice place so then we def had to give more pp.....but $$ is always helpful!

It's funny...it must be a NY thing because in Boston hardly anyone has e-parties, and if they do, no one gives gifts.
We didn't have an e-party, but did have a Christmas party right after we got engaged...Most of our friends gave us engagement cards and a bottle of wine or something smaller...
I guess I should've had an e-party in NY!!!!

We just had our E-party and the gifts ranged from $50-$200 per person. Now we only invited close family and friends though.
