What do you want to do before summer officially ends?
I'm going to Montauk this week and I want to get to Fire Island once or twice before mid-September.

DH and I really want to get to Great Adventure. We both love roller coasters and have been itching to get on some of their new ones!!!!!

eat as many food items off the grill as I can...drink plenty of 'summer' drinks (mojitos, white sangria or, as I had yesterday, SoCo lemonade ) I am a seasonal alcoholic, you see.
also, have a pool party...Labor day weekend...woooohooo (as you can probably imagine, I am already planning the drink menu )

Id love to go up to the lake house WITH my husband. Id love to take Gabe to Sesame Place in PA. Id love to go shopping for work clothes.
I doubt I will get to do any of them now :(

Want to go to Fire Island (we usually go for the day the last week in Aug)
Hopefully make it to Great Adventure (b4 I end up pregnant!)

I usually call up all the 'old' summer flings and touch base with them, get their contact information and reminisce..
oh wait...I'm married now...can't do that eh?
I guess I'll have to settle to boozing it up at RED's in the Seaport. wait...I do that during the winter..
Okay, I found an answer - go up to DH's house in Monticello for Labor Day - that's usually the 'end of summer' fest.

I really wish I would have been able to go on a vacation but that isn't in the budget this year. Thought I'd like to go on a picnic before the summer ends!
