What do you with your dress if you live with FH??

Where is everyone keeping their dress until the big day? My dad lives far from me; maybe I'll drop it at my sisters???

Drop it at your sister's. I'm leaving it at my mom's. I'm getting ready at my mom's, so it works out.

I'm getting ready at the hotel..that's a lot to ask of my sister to bring it with her??? idk maybe I'll leave at my sisters and then give it to my MIL who will be staying at the hotel ahead of time...just thinking it out loud!!

hmm... good question... the only family we have that close to me (within 10-15 min) is HIS!!!!!!

I left it at my parent's house...I'd ask your sister..what about your MOH (if it's not your sister) or even your in laws?

Locking it up in another room in our house. But I don't even think he'd look at it if he could~he wants to be surprised.

I don't know what to do myself. We're staying at a hotel and my prents will be staying with us, and I don't have any BP, so I was thinking to hang it on the closet door with a sheet over it.
That's is the best and only idea I have.

I hung it in on the door in our guest bedroom, but it was soo wrapped up in the bag from the bridal salon and sooo puffy that I think DH was too afraid to even try and open the bag

I had it hanging on my closet door.....DH had to sleep staring at it for 3 days....never peaked.....I put a sheet over it...almost made a tent for it.

We each have our owe closets so my dress is currently in the back of my closet!

My RH actually said that they sometimes take them night before and steam it and stuff, but I'm just way too paranoid to do that. SO, i'll probably bring it to my parents house.
