ive decided on where to go for the honeymoon - sandals! now people are telling me to use a travel agent - what do they do that i cant do myself?

I think it basically for insurance purposes, possible deals, and you don't have to pay all up front. HTH!

Travel agents arrange everything for you - including flights. Yes you can do this yourself but they are their just in case! You never know what can go wrong. Plus, this is one less thing for you to worry about! Remember, TA should not charge you anything for their services!

Can anyone recommend a good travel agent?? I'd love to plan my honeymoon myself, but FH and I are too busy with everything else, and I want the honeymoon planning to be fun, not an added stress!

I usually book all of my vacas myself but for our HM I def want to go with a TA. I dont want the stress of searching for the best deals and I want advice on places to go, things to see and possible deals I maybe wont find on my own. Plus I want to be able to make payments to pay off the trip instead of paying up front.

thank you girls - i went to one today and it was so much easier - i told her what i wanted, where and when and it is done!!! so much less stress and she knew numbers to call if i had a question. also she gave me amazing discounts that i couldn't even find and credit to the spa!!!! So glad i went to one - thanks girls!

travel agents can sometimes find deals we cant or know when better deals are coming plus some ppl like dealing with a person instead of a computer in case something goes wrong. and they also have sent so many ppl on hm they know the best places to be. if you want a good travel agent let me know. mine is locate din bklyn hes independent but hes been my travel agent/neighbor for several years now and always hook us up
