I was just curious...what do you do for a living? I am an Audiologist...I just graduated from Adelphi with my master's degree this month. I start working for Lexington School for the Deaf at the end of this month. Let me know what you guys do!!!!

I'm an elementary music teacher! I am finishing my masters this summer and then thinking abotu a doctorate..thinking being the operative word...especially if im trying to save for a wedding!
im an elementary music teacher too. i just finished my masters at CW Post. where do u teach?? chorus? band? GM? im the 4th and 5th grade band director. i was thinking about doing my doctorate too but right now i need a break from school!

I have my BA in speech, and currently work as a 'speech therapist' for MRDD people. I LOVE my job!
How can you legally work as a speech therapist without your masters??? I would say go for the master's...the increase in salary is rediculous. It's definitely worth it. Then if you have your masters you can get your new york state license and be ASHA certified and then work for yourself! I know speech pathologists that go to people's houses and charge like $200 an hour. Its awesome!

I have the worst job ever!!! I work for State Farm Insurance...at my fathers agency...it stinks and I get so underpaid...I just want to be a house wife...and pop out some babies!! Just waiting for my honey to graduate for Phamacy school and start raking in the moola!! hehe 2 more years for him...its a 6 year program I feel like its been forever!

Thats funny, I interviewed for your company sometime in the beginning of the year as a VMI manager (which is probably what you do). They said to give em a call but I didn't. The commute woulda been too rough for me.
I'm work temp as a buyer in Brookhaven now.

The State has loop holes. Technically i'm not a Pathologist, but i do much of the job of one. I have a ccc that comes and oversee's my work. It's a state thing. A lot of the OMRDD companys have that. Not just with speech either. The pay is crap but i Love my job.
