cluelessbride- When I was just taking classes and working, that was fine. When I had to student teach and work, it was a little rough, but I was lucky that my job wanted to keep me. So I would student teach and be at school until 2ish, then I would go right to the office and work until about 8 or 9. It was worth it though because I was able to still make some $$ while student teaching (which you make no $$ doing!) It was the only way I could have done it though.

You are my idol!!!!!!!!!!! I want to teach HS English but wondered how I could handle the student teaching part. My job just might let me work til 8 or 9, actually, and come in at 2. I'm going to look into it some more. Thanks for the info and inspiration!

Re: What does everyone do for a living?
I'm an arts publicist. When I was still in New York, I used to work at a ballet company, now I work for a large arts complex in London doing dance and contemporary music events. Unfortunately, only part-time, but hopefully that'll change soon!

That is so awesome. I played the flute for years, then when I graduated, I stopped and my sister took over.
