What does everyone do with their bridal shower bow hat?

I feel bad throwing it away, but what am I supposed to do with it?

The people I've seen who had them, kept them up the wedding and I never saw them again.

I dunno, I have to be honest.. I'd toss mine.. I think I would consider it only for the event of the bridal shower.. part of the fun.

What some people do is use it as a bouquet at their rehearsals...I think that's cute!

I saved mine to use as my bouquet at the rehearsal. Now I wonder what to do with it. I'll probably throw it away.

I brought mine to the church to use as a fake bouquet at my rehearsal, but forgot to use it in all the excitement. I still have it.

I am using mine as a boo-k for my rehersal.

I forgot to use it for our rehersal but I did recycle the bows on gifts to others.

What I've seen my friends do here in the midwest is make a bow bouquet instead of a hat. Then they use it at the rehearsal. I though that ws so cute.

My friend made me a bow bouquet which came out so nice I just couldn't throw it away. I'm a real pack rat, I save everything. I have a drawer that I keep all my wedding memorabilia.
I used mine for the rehearsal also.

just an idea for anyone PLANNING a shower. I was MOH in a may wedding, instead of the hat (which is totally not the brides thing) we did a bouquet for her to carry at her rehersal.
At my cousins shower they did a bra and a thong using plates and ribbon. Both are cute ideas depending on your bride.
I think I will probably throw mine away, FH may kill me if I bring alot of clutter into our home when we move in together

I use it everytime I give a gift. You will be amazed how much money you will save on bows and ribbons. I have enough to last a year.

I threw mine away - there were hardly any bows on my gifts so it ended up being a sad looking hat

I used mine at my rehersal and then packed it away in our 'wedding box' I can't wait to open it years from now

I forgot to wear it on my RD, but I kept it in a box to preserve it as a keepsake. I intend to keep it forever. However, to each their own.

How did you make it into a bouquet - what do you need to have at the shower to do this?

I went to Micheals and bought a styrofoam cone (I think its used for flower arranging) then I hot glued it to a paper plate. Then being an anal MOH I made sure I brought extra curling ribbon to the shower so that is had some ribbons cascading down. I will try to post a pic tonight when I get home!
