What does everyone think about registering for a HM

my FH and i really think we only want to register at BB&B.. it has everything we want.. so i was thinking of registering for my HM .. my gf did it and what you did was buy giftcards that went twords a trip.
however when i mentioned it to my g-ma i got the evil eye LOL

we did this and got a lot of great excursions paid for. we also did a BBB registry, that was the bulk of our registry gifts but the HM registry was great. it came in handy esp after the wedding is all paid off and you have no more money!

we did this for our eparty!!! it worked out well!!! we will also register elsewhere for the shower, but the hm registry will still be listed too. we have a house, so we have stuff and since we are paying for the wedding we really need help with the hm.
