what does everyone think of my dress

I am getting nervous that it is very puffy, but the seamstress said I could wear a reg full slip to make it less ballroom. Eve of milady can't make bad dresses, but I get nervous when I see that mine is so old fashioned looking... I spent 6000 on it w/o alterations and I feel somtimes I think about it too much.

I actually tend to favor more old-fashioned dresses, so that's not always a bad thing! I think your dress has a modern yet classic look to it and is absolutely gorgeous. The poofiness factor is all up to you and what you're comfortable with. I personally don't feel comfortable in poof, but I don't think your dress is over-the-top at all. I'm sure you'll look fabulous in it.
