What does everyone wear when going dress shopping

what does everyone wear when going dress shopping .....in terms of tank top? ....strapless bra?......undies..shorts?

i wore boy short underware - regular bra but eventually purchased my own bra that now is too big for me since i lost weight.

Jeans and a sweatshirt or a easy take off shirt and sneakers.

I just wore regular clothes.. and they let me borrow a bra/slip etc.

I wore a bra, boy shorts, and sneakers but lucky for me they gave me a strapless bra and a slip to wear.

Strapless bra, modest undies, and regular clothes...I knew I didn't want to wear a long line bra for the actual wedding, or a corset, so I didn't want to put any of those things on. If you do, most salons will provide a long-line bra at least...

I wore undies and a bra..which they usually have you take off anyway....so, wear undies you are comfy in since that's all that is left at times lol

They actually provided me with a strapless bra. All I needed to bring was myself and a pair of heels the approximate height I was planning on wearing for the wedding.

When you're first looking for dresses...wear something comfy, quick to get in and out of...and regular undies. most places have strapless bras and crinolines you can use.

when you're going for your fitting though, it's different. I think you're supposed to wear the bra you'll wear on your wedding day + your day of shoes

i wore a strapless bra and regular (non-thong) undies. chances are someone is going to help you get dressed -- keep that in mind!

also, wear something that is easy to get into and out of.

edit: you might want to bring along a pair of heels to try on the dresses with. some bridal shops had shoes but they were all awful and the wrong size

Strapless bra (padded if needed), heels of a height similar to what you will wear, and non-thong underwear. I wore a thong to my first time shopping and didn't know the saleswomen helped you get dressed. I wasn't thrilled about having my butt cheeks exposed and I'm sure they were equally as unenthusiastic about viewing them.

I wore tight shorts so that i wouldn't be running around in my undies, plus they kind of helped to suck in my tummy a little bit.
I also brought a strapless bra with me to some of the places, others i knew they had bras i could wear.

I like the idea of wearing the tight shorts underneath because regardless of ig you are the bride or a BM or a MOH, trying on.. you always feel like you end up naked at some point with people looking lol lol lol

I went once for fun even though I already have my dress, and I just wore whatever. When I go with friends they usually just wear whatever as well- never anything special...

are you supposed to??
