For example, when somone puts in the subject header 'you have FM...NM'..it means that there is no message in the body of the post.

a while back on the old board...you could see people's title...so sometimes you would just answer a question in the title...

so then *NM* was added automatically (b/c you didn't have any text written)

some...may still be in that old habit...

but sometimes I think people mean it as 'nevermind' as well
