What does one wedding at a time mean???

I am getting married in a month and just found out by my FMIL that there will be a high school reunion going on at the same exact time as my wedding upstairs? Having my event be the only at the venue was one of my criteria in choosing a place and I thought that by them advertising one wedding at a time it meant that my wedding would be the only focus for the staff. I am so mad how do I approach the RH?

It means they will only have one wedding but it does not mean they cannot have other events going on as well. If they said one 'event' at a time it would be different since that would mean it will just be your wedding and no other events will be scheduled for that day.

the guests for the other event will literally be walking up the staircase next to my guests during cocktail hour b/c the staircase is in the back next to the patio. There are so many things that I keep thinking about. Its not like this is a big place where the two events will be on opposite sides of the building totally seperate from one another.

That sucks, they should have explained that to you better. Does it start at the same time? Some halls would start the other event an hour later or earlier so that it wont clash.

At the same exact time! They have dates that aren't even filled up-as you can see there are not too many of us on here that are getting married there. As if they are not making enough money on me that they had to book another event at the same time?
