My cousin is getting married and the reception is at Irish Times Pub in Holbrook.

Semi-Formal Attire?? Some of you know that place, what's it like? What do I wear?

For men, definitely suit and tie. As others have mentioned, tell him to wear the tie. He can always take the tie off later if people are more dressed down, but you never want to go to a function underdressed.

For a girl, any cocktail dress or party dress will work, including bright colors and more fashion-forward designs.
