What does your card box look like?

Did you buy it or make it?

i'm making mine. I bought a wooden, treasure-shaped box, painted it, and put a layer of satin with a patterned overlay. I plan to decorate with ribbon, but haven't gotten that far yet.

I'd love to see pictures of everyone else's!

These are the basic shapes I see at the stores. Prices range depending on the quality of the box.

Actually the clear one I only saw online.

my MOH/sister made ours for us....it's a cute white mailbox that she decorated....and wrote our married last name in silver

like 'The Smiths'' can't wait to use it!

Cheryl from Exquisite Affairs made my cardbox with photos and it came out amazing. I never could've pulled that off as a DYI. I would HIGHLY recommend her.

I wanted something different and colorful, so I used a jeweled box that I found at Pier 1.

I don't have a pic...but I didn't want to spend much money and wanted something that would blend in. So we wrapped a medium sized box and made a slot in it for the cards and then tied a ribbon arround it. Looked like another one of the gifts on the table but we could put the cards into it and once we did it everyone knew what to do.

I bought a wood chest at AC Moore for like $10 and spray painted it gold (I had an ivory/pink./gold theme) and cut a slit on top. It was simple and served it's purpose. Now my sisters use it to store stuff.

We had a traditional one that was a white round box made to look like a cake and then this one that my dad made

I'm considering the birdcage as well.

Honestly I'm not that crazy about the birdcage but feel it may be the most obvious of what it is.

I'm afraid some of the other boxes may look like gifts?
