What Doesn't Kill Me Only Pisses Me Off...

So the Slider comes up to me and asks if he can talk to me. He asked what happened that made me so angry and blah-blah-blah-apology-cakes! I told him I thought his email was very inappropriate and personal and it freaked me out. He apologized profusely, clarified that he didn't want to hop in the sack with me () and he'd like to be able to joke around with me again. I said that would be fine but I want it to be kept on a professional level. I don't like to bring work home with me.

So everything is hunky-dory. Except I think I threw up a little in my mouth, especially when he said 'hop in the sack'. Ew! Please stop bringing that stuff up! I would rather eat broken glass than ever have that thought cross my mind.

So I'm thinking about it more and more and what happened with the Slider yesterday really, really f**cking pisses me off. I was far too polite and self-depracating when I should have just said 'Hey Psycho, take your wishy-washy aggression and shove off!'
Instead, when he said he'd like to joke around with me again I said yes, but it has to be on a professional level. Hello? Spine? Are you there? It's me Liz...the SPINELESS!
And that comment about 'hopping in the sack'. That really made me uncomfortable! I never thought ANYTHING of the sort, yet he keeps bringing it up to reiterate that he DOESN'T want me to think that. You know what makes me NOT think about awkward and inappropriate things, when you don't SAY awkward and inappropriate things.

Oh well, back to stonewalling him.
