what do you mean? bustle is how you pin up your gown, if you have a train.

I know what the bustle is, but what about it needs alterations??? Is it just adding the buttons in the right place? I know, I am an idiot asking this....

You're not an idiot at all! Bustles come in many different varieties and sometimes they're more difficult depending on the type. French bustles look complicated to me - Ive never actually seen one in person but its got to require a certain amount of skill to make it sit properly when it is bustled and for the attachments not to show when it isn't bustled...did that make sense?

there are dif types of bustles.. not all of them are just buttons.. they are ones with hooks, strings that you can pull.. there's 0384238 dif kinds of ones.. it depends on your gownand look you are going for.
