Hey everybody just wanted to see what extra's or enhancements to the wedding are you going to have? anyone going with a full Viennese? Seafood Bar? i went to a showcase at Villa Lombardi's and they had a mashed potato bar anyone thinking of doing that?
how bout special lighting for the reception? or a non flower centerpiece on the tables?
or anything else your gonna be adding on to the wedding

We're having a pig roasting during CH our RH threw it in for us. Other than that, I don't think we're adding on anything else for now. We're getting alot of food and our RH even threw in an extra station for us.
We're not doing lighting because we're having a day wedding and its in the Dome ROom so there should be a decent amount of light shining in.

we got the platinum package at the swan club which includes seafood boat , ice sculpture and a few other things. I think thats probably the only extra we are getting. We are on a TIIIGGGHHHT budget.

We are doing the mashed potato bar but it is not an extra at our venue. I think a full viennese hour is excessive and to be honest everyone is so full by then wanting to dance it is not worth it. We are going to add an extra hour to the whole event with a 1/2 hour to the cocktail hour and the other 1/2 hour to the end of the party.

i'll be adding an extra hour, vienesse hour, and fh's surprise. I think that is it for now but we might be getting a cake from an outside bakery

We are doing the VH because my big italian family would never let me live it down if i didnt! The RH is throwing in the mash potato bar - i could live with out it otherwise. I am not sure about lighting yet - i really haven't thought about it yet. I need to start moving on things!!!

we're thinking about adding the seafood boat. (most likely will) lighting tripe at the CH singer/pianist for CH and dinner chocolate fountain yummm dessert trays on the table during dessert

the one thing extra taht we are having is 2 chocolate fountains, but we arent even paying extra for them. the Rh we booked through them in. But i FH really wants the Ice Lugee ( i spelt that wrong) so that might be an extra. but its only $200 extra if we do it.

we are having a martini bar. the mashed potato bar is one of our options for a station so we might be doing it.
we have perimeter room lighting which gives the room a glow of color (think platinum weddings when you see a room and its all one color like pink or blue). we also are doing the plasmas with zap shots.
we also added and ice cream bar and bananas foster bar

if its what i think shes talking about its an ice sculpture that have a run way to pour shots down.... also called a vodka slide or a shot slide.... we are definitely having this at my wedding its something fun to throw in and usually a cheap or thrown in extra

is the lighting part of the dj you booked or is that something different? any pictures of what it would look like?

sure its a Vodka Slide. most people take shots off of it, but its for the vodak to chill before it gets to your glass
Are you gonna be booking with Villa Lombardi's? I'm having my reception at Lombardi's on the Sound (same menu pretty much). We got rid of the sushi bar cuz it wasn't that good and replaced it with no extra cost with the seafood bar. So that's one extra I guess lol. We are also doing an extra half hour for the CH. Instead of the vienesse, we are doing italian dessert trays at all the tables for dessert (with all the coffees and the wedding cake). And we are looking at booking a band instead of a dj. I wanted that to be the thing we splurge on. Oh and I would like to the lighting in the reception room. I think that's cool.
