What extra's are you planning on having?

its funny to see what RH's throw in. 2 of the 4 Im going back to look at had told me whatever i wanted to add would be included.

Sandcastle quoted me at 145pp for a Saturday night in August including a full Viennese, Seafood boat, Mashed Potato Bar, no charge for the ceremony, Martini Bar, Vodka Slide, an extra carving station (need pastrami for my side of the family), an intermezzo, 7 hours for the party, and a 10 day vacation in Greece in a honeymoon suite with your own pool.

Terrace on the Park quoted me at 105 for a Saturday in August but in the smaller room not the large terrace room. basically including all of the above without the vacation.

I'm gonna see if i can get the chocolate fountains, i didn't ask the first time i went.

i know i cant believe it myself where most of the things that come with the package at Sandcastle are expensive extras everywhere else. I donno what to do! i'm going to bring my parents and my FH is going to bring his to the top 4 places we've been to and have them help make the decision with us. but with all that i donno how we can pass it up....

so far we have string trio playing at the CH, a martini bar during CH (with an ice sculpture shot slide/luge), reception lighting, a percussionist with the DJ, full VH with chocolate fountain, waffles, sundaes, popcorn, cotton candy....we also have 4 plasmas with the DJ set up for 2 quick montages and a quick ceremony re-cap...- i think thats it as far as 'extras' go - only 24 more days!! sorry im crashing your board - mine is dead

percussionist is basically a drummer usually in wedding cases its a guy with a bunch of congo's and such not like a live bands full drum kit

I'm adding vienesse hour, we got 3 chocolate fountains thrown in as well as raw clams and oysters. I want to get a percussionist and possibly a fireworks show for FH just as we go into the vienesse hour, oh and fh's is having cigars made with our names on them.

just me being nosey what did they quote you at CLM because we really liked that place and is in our top 4 to go back to (as a matter of fact i'm doing the food tasting there tomorrow) but we got quoted a pretty high price for 200 + people on and Saturday Night in Aug compared to the other places. and the Banquet Manager really wasn't throwing in any extras
if you wanna fm me this info it would be a big help

Right now the only extra's we are planning to do is having the chocolate fountain.

We'll add on some other stuff if we happen to have extra money when the wedding gets cloer (fat chance!). But who knows.

WOW that is awesome. I had the VH, extra hour on top of that, seafood bar, martini bar and i got charged per person for each thing. Actually martini bar he threw in, also threw in the bottle of white wine and red wine on each table. The chocolate fountain came with the VH so that was thrown in. I also had about 5 ice sculptures, one was in the shape of the NY Yankees symbol.

Other stuff weren't with the RH but lighting, plasma's, photo montage, percussionist and zap photographer with the DJ.

We have a Mash Potato Bar, Cigar Bar, Slipper Bin, Band as well as DJ & a few other things... We are running out of money!!! LOL

who are u using for your cigar bar

yep percussionist is usually some kind of drummer - usually bongos - the guy we are having we know personally - my FH worked quite a few parties with him - he is bringing a kick drum, snare drums, symbol, a whole bunch of stuff - more like a regular drum set up....

the dj company we are using is dash of class - they have offices based out of NJ and Staten Isl - my FH has been working for them for years so we are getting a lot of stuff through them - soup to nuts hahahaha
