I got a room which i hear is typical, an ice sculpture which im not thrilled with, and a coffee cordial bar during dessert. I didntreally pay for anything extra....but was waiting to hear some good ideas

Too many to list!!! I am afraid to post b/c if someone took what I wrote and brought it to my hall asking for the same things I would get in big trouble. But it really was ALOT.

We got the coffee/cordial bar with dessert and an extra pasta in the pasta station at the ch - you only get 1 pasta, to me that was not a pasta 'station' so I whined a little and got an extra one thrown in.

the only extra that we are doing is the after party-- but that does set us back a bit..
We are getting a couple things thrown in- just remember it never hurts to ask, and make sure it is in WRITING!

I have a couple of these things but I didnt know that they were extra. How does it come to be said that they are extras? I thought that meant like the seafood bar or something like that that is obviously extra $$$.

We got the seafood boat, martini bar, and coridal bar. IMO, the CH sets the mood for the whole wedding.

this is exactly what i was going to say. we got an excellent price and a bunch of addins.. but i was told i'm not allowed to tell people.
although for all i know he might do that for everyone and just wants me to think i'm getting a great deal even tho everyone does..hmmm...

The packages differ at every hall. I paid a decent amount per person, but that price covered things that other brides pay extra for. Like someone mentioned that they got baby lamb chops thrown in, but that was a basic option at my hall. another person mentioned the after dinner cordials, but that was already included in my package, as well as pastries and chocolate dipped berries on every table- many halls charge extra for that too.
