do-rags! it speaks of tacky, trashy and low class looking. i can't stand seeing em! it's like seeing women wearing curl rollers in their hair and walking around outside to do their shopping. it's just something that should be done at home or at the salon. =P

Low cut jeans/pants...I dont want to see your underwear or your thong.
I also agree w/sandals on men.

The 'messy' look. At the mall, on campus (when I go to school at night) and just about everywhere I constantly see girls looking like complete messes (al la Britney Spears) - they go to class looking awful and walk around like not brushing your hair and wearing ratty clothes is cool. If you want to look like slob fine, I'm all for wearing sweats, but just because there's a name brand on your sweats and I can see 1/2 your stomach doesn't make you more fashionable than me! I think that look went out with the Von Dutch-type hats, right? Not that I'm a fashion mogul, but it's the 'fashion' I'm tired of seeing!

OMG! Me too!

My DH borrowed my flipflops (they happened to be JCrew men's ) while on vacation b/c we running out to the store and I thought he looked so hot in them! (He thought I was nuts. ) He won't wear them though. He claims the thong part of the flipflop bother's him, not that he wears any open toe shoes to begin with.

ETA: I know...it's sad that my DH can actually borrow my shoes.

unfortuantly yes...my sister's mother in law was at her house this weekend and she had the denium purse, and the scrunchy. I saw a woman in Waldbaums wearing PJ pants and a tang top. I saw another woman there wearing plastic earnings, braclet and necklace in a tacking bright blue color. And since the weather started warning up the bleach heads have starting to come out....usually guys trying to look younger than they realy are....they are not fooling anyone though

I don't know if this was mentioned, but flip flops at work drive me crazy. I saw a girl in the deli in my building with them today!

I won't allow my employees to wear them to work. Besides not being sanitary, or safe I can't take the sound of 15 girls flipping and flopping all day

I am tired of pointy shoes
'dressy' flip-flops'
12' miniskirts (is that a skirt or a thick belt?)


and things they call 'modern preppy' Don't try to change things that are classics. They have lasted as long as they have because they are fine the way they are!

DH and I hate this, too. We think it draws a lot of attention to your butt. When we were in Boston a few summers ago, we saw shorts that had Boston, MA across the back and we wondered who would actually wear them and then we saw a very large, wide-butted woman wearing them and we looked at each other and said 'she could have written out Massachusetts, too!' We were horrible, I will admit.
