we're doing a marble with a combination filling off vanilla and choclate pudding - dont even know what that is going to taste like but FH is the cooking guy so I kept quiet

i havnt tried the rainbow cake yet i have too go to the bakery majestic gardens uses and try it the only problem is if we do choose it its a extra 1 person they get u for everything

i want some kind of banana cake that is our favorite.....we had a banana cake for our eparty and people LOVED it....it was banana cake - tasted like banana bread i guess, with some real bananas, and buttercream icing, it was amazingly delicious - i dont know if we'll have that option for wedding cake though.....
we are having the VH though so i probably wont even eat the cake - ill be to busy sampling all the goodies!
i wanted banana coconut but for one fh is allergic to bananas so yeah didnt do that lol and for some reason some ppl arent crazy about coconut lol that is my absolute favorite. But i am very happy with my choices anyways
I'd love to do banana too, but I know people that are allergic to it so I don't want to do that.

I love coconut cakes.. mmmmmm.. you're right, not many people like it.. ever try moist coconut cake with pineapple caramalized in brown sugar..

yay for cakes!
We are going traditional with 7 layer yellow cake with one layer chocolate pudding and one layer cannoli cream w/ rum. FH picked it out and combined his favorite cakes together...LOL. We are getting it from Leonettis in Greenvale... Saverio makes the BEST cakes and gelato! ( our new apartment is in Glen Cove which is right down the road and we go there a little too often...LOL )

our cake is 3 layers of cake, which will be vanilla on the two outer layers and chocolate in the middle layer. The filling will be fresh strawberries and custard. YUMMY!
I am also surprising FH with a 3 tiered grooms cake....going for the tasting next week!

We haven't picked one yet, but I'd LOVE a Napoleon cake....I doubt they'll have that so I want to do something with chocolate or cannoli filling for the Ginzo's that will be expecting cannoli something lol
