we're doing a marble with a combination filling off vanilla and choclate pudding - dont even know what that is going to taste like but FH is the cooking guy so I kept quiet

We're doing a yellow cake with real strawberries and fresh whipped cream in the layers. My FH picked it,,,lol I'm not really a cake person, in fact if I had it my way I would have icecream but that's just me.

We have been ordering sample cakes from the bakery...lol...I workout...I eat cake...I workout...I eat cake...its a vicious cycle! LOL
I'm pretty sure we have decided on White Chiffon cake with a White Choc. Mouse filling on one layer and a Hazelnut Mouse on the other. It's 3 layers of cake and 2 fillings...is that weird to have 2 different fillings in the same cake? It tasted pretty yummy. Oh...and all whipped cream. YUMMY!!!!!!

One layer is chocolate cake with seedless raspberry filling, 2nd layer is yellow cake with cannoli filling and the thrid layer is yellow cake with hazelnut/chocolate gnash!
ETS: Each table is getting a V-platter...FH & I are not big fans of the V-hour per say.

Our wedding cake is a 4 layer vegan chocolate cake (I'm allergic to eggs and FH is a tree-hugger veg.). It will have hazelnut ganache filling and mocha buttercream icing. The outside will be ivory in color and will have lace-like decorations to match my dress. Then....my grandparents 62nd wedding anniversary is the same day. The RH is hopefully making a 3 tiered carrot cake (egg-free of course). Cakes have been really fun to look at and decide upon.

I would have LOVED all chocolate but FH isn't a fan. We did a yellow cake with strawberries and cream. Then there are yellow cupcakes with white frosting as well.

My favorite flavor is chocolate cake with chocolate icing. We are doing this as our cake, but haven't figured our the fillings yet. FH wants raspberry as one of them. We are doing Vienesse hour too.

We're doing a Napolean cake that will be served with a chocolate cup with vanilla ice cream in it.
Also we're having a mini Venetian on each table... geez I am getting hungry now!

omg stop im getting so hungry!
i want some kind of banana cake that is our favorite.....we had a banana cake for our eparty and people LOVED it....it was banana cake - tasted like banana bread i guess, with some real bananas, and buttercream icing, it was amazingly delicious - i dont know if we'll have that option for wedding cake though.....
we are having the VH though so i probably wont even eat the cake - ill be to busy sampling all the goodies!

No Viennese hour, I'm not a fan personally so we opted not to. Our cake is going to white chocolate pound cake with chocolate mousse and rasperry puree fillings. It will have a dark chocolate ganache icing underneath the fondant. I can't wait.
