My next thing on the to-do list is hiring a florist. What florists are you using and why did you pick them?

Flower Michele- I first heard about them here (all wonderful reviews), and their work is beautiful. And John was able to give me what I wanted (sunflowers and mango calla lilies) in my price range. Good luck searching!

we went with burton's on 110 in melville. they charge you one price whether you use daisys or roses. they charge by the number of flowers, vs the type of flower. they setup your contract now and then you don't go back to actually pick your flowers until 6 weeks or so before. i work with john, and he is very nice and easy to work with!! good luck!!

We are using LA Blossom. Her work is amazing and she is awesome. I could not hire someone that I did not feel a good connection with.

I am going with Trina from Expressions Floral Design and I HIGHLY recommend her. She is the sweetest thing and her prices can not be beat.

We used Flowers by Liz. You can see the photos in my review on the review board (there's a link). Prices were very reasonable.

Milleridge Florist in Jericho. They're on site for the Milleridge hall(s) but they're wedding experts and go everywhere. Amazing quality. Here's a link to the flowers I'll be using from them.

she is out of Huntington but she will meet you basically anywhere..which makes Laurie that much more awesome!

Flower Michele!! John is wonderful! My flower arrangements were so unique - everyone still comments on them. My bouquets were so fresh - they lived for over a week after being out of water the entire wedding day! And John is just a doll to work with! Here are my flowers:
