what flowers for black BM dresses? Pics???

Hi everyone - i don't post too often but I am looking for some ideas. I am just starting to think about what color/kind of flowers I want. I am using black BM dresses so I feel like I have lots of options - so many that I don't know where to begin! What do you think looks best with black? If anyone has any pics I would LOVE some visual inspiration too =) thanks!

PS, Wedding is in the late spring.

My wedding was also late spring and we had black bm dresses.
I went with light pink peonies and loved the look!!

I also loved conigs25 hot pink flowers!

im thinking of doing black dresses as well and i saw a nice picture with red roses. unfortunately, i cant find the picture now, but that is the colors im leaning towards. the red really stood out.

My couisn had all black wedding and did red roses but, I say if you want color do it up!!!! I'm a color person.

I am doing black dresses with 2 toned roses for the girls. Ivory on the bottom and red on the top. This way, you will see a nice contrast with the dresses.

I am doing black magic roses for me.

You could basically do anything. I like the hot pink, or hot pink with light pink.

You can do anything with black. Personally, for a spring wedding...the brighter, the better. If you want, you can do bright pink [my fav with black], you can use stargazer lillies if you'd like too. I also like the idea of having each BM carry a different colored bouquet.....all bright flowers...maybe gerber daisies? Those are gorgeous bright flowers!

I have another question - does the bride have to use the same type flowers as the BM's? Cause I want just plain calla liles but I will probably want my BMs to carry a different type of flower.

nope...you can carry whatever you want. You can even have each BM carry something different if you want! There are no rules!

Pink! Love the hot pink/fuschia ones or even light pink. The two tone peonies someone posted were beautiful too. My girls had them in their bouquet and they were beautiful...esp for spring.
