What fun party stuff do you like to get at a wedding?

Sunglasses? Beads? Hats? Leis? Maracas?
Masks? What else?? Give me some ideas and I'll see what the favorites are before I place my order.

The free alcohol is usually enough for me!! But masks sound like fun--do you mean the half-mask masquerade kind with feathers? Those are great.

Just my opinion...i do not like any give aways at a wedding. I think they are cute at christenings, sweet 16's and birthdays but not weddings..that is JMO no offense at all.

i dunno, i just don't see the place for giveaways at a wedding -- you don't need them to add to the party. Usually the happiness of everyone to be together and yes, the alcohol is enough

we didn't sign up for any at ours. The DJ's had some leftovers and gave out a few free of charge. I just think giveaways are kinda 'sweet sixteenish'

Well then i would go with those gangster hats and beads and maybe the masks. not the glasses and lays.

My friend had them at her wedding, and you would be surprised as to how many people were using the stuff - dancing around - sunglasses, hats, beads, light wands.
It was probably one of the 'funnest' weddings I've been to - other than my own of course.

eta: obviously the free drinks helped in to loosen them up!

I feel the same way as jj04 and Don in that giveaway's are more Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Sweet Sixteenish.

I thought I wasn't a fan of the giveaways.. that is, until we had a bunch of them at my own wedding and I kid you not, it was a total HIT! We were getting them thrown in anyhow, so we didn't 'seek it out' per se.. but everyone really enjoyed the stuff so much that I was happy in the end we did have them.

We had the oh so tacky sunglasses, tamborines and some other shaky thingies The pics from the reception are the funniest -- seeing me, my hubby and the old folks 'getting down.' For that alone I'm so glad I had the giveaways. I mean, how could you NOT love these pics

We had only fake fedoras (going with our 40's theme) & the masks, although I don't know why, we didn't ask for them

I didn't want any, but Dh thought it might be funny for everyone to wear the fedoras.
