I am putting water, crackers, personalized candy bar, local area attraction maps and some other things.

I put in mini snapple bottles, water, tylenol. chips, cookies, m&m's ( we are mike and michele), kisses, nuts and gum. We figured this should satisfy everyone's cravings.

We're putting in water bottles, fruit, candy, snacks, and a map. On the map we are pointing out areas of interest (Diner, target for those who forgot something, restaurants, church, reception hall) We are also adding directions and a reminder of times for everything.

I got little samples of perfumes and colognes to put in too, along with sample toothpastes...just in case people forget- i know i do sometimes.

*** side question- not hijacking-

How far in advance can we start putting these together? My wedding is July 1st

We stocked up at cosco. Each bag had two bags of chips, two bags of cookies and crackers, two bottles of water, two packs of gum, fruity lifesavers, minty lifesavers, creme savers, tylenol,maps, directions and itinerary for the day as well as shuttle info from the hotel and a big thank you note from DH and I.

I have had my bags decorated for months. I will stuff them probably in the beginning of May!

I'm thinking a month to a month and a half before this way it doesn't get dusty!!!!

I'm adding Hershey's kisses in our wedding colors and Long Island wine (Pindar Autumn Gold... perfect name for a November wedding, too! But I know they make other seasonal names that would be nice to add to OOT baskets... maybe with a pair of inexpensive wine glasses, too.). I also plan on including a cd 'For the Ride Home' of some of the songs from the wedding. . I can't wait to make my OOT baskets! I want to make them now! lol Good luck!

Granola Bars
Candy
Tylenol packets
Brochures

I'm putting everything I would like to have if I went to a hotel - with as much of a Long Island theme as I can get:

LI wine (with inexpensive wine glasses)
LI Candle Factory candle w/matches
Chocolate
Microwave popcorn
LI potato chips
soda
personalized water bottles, coffee and tea
tic tacs with the wedding label
'The Journey Home' cd (our own mix of songs)

I'll also put in razors and travel soaps, sample perfumes, LI vineyard information and other LI tourism information. Also, I'm including the shuttle bus schedule and the invitation to the day-after breakfast to 'continue the celebration'.

OOT stands for 'Out of Town' and is a bag or box that is left for your out of town guests at their hotels to 'welcome' them and thank them for making the trip to be at your wedding. Yet another little thing to drive brides crazy!

as a touch i got roses that are soap its cute the leaves peel off as my theme is hearts and roses

I receivedan OOT bagat awedding that had a shot glass for Long Island, Life savers, post cards, a mini bottle of wine.....they alsoenclosed a sticker with there wedding theme'It's not the destination it's the Journey'
