I was thinking of that today....like the Philly house, it's an old federal building....what happens to it?

One of the houses - I think San Francisco burned down to the ground two or three years after the show...the rest go on the market

I found this on deansplanet.com

Dean S. Planet: Is it true that the San Francisco Real World house burnt down? Is Puck a suspect?
Judd: No, he's mostly has been in jail for assault and drug charges. Arson doesn't fit in. The truth of the fire is this:
Nine people we living in the house as part of a REAL WORLDesque, internet web cam thing. They lived in the house and it was loaded with web cams that could be viewed live on the internet. I met them. Nice kids. One night someone left a candle burning and the house went up. The house was burnt out, but not down. The structure still stands but the owner apparently hasn't used the insurance money to fix the joint. It still sits there boarded up and burnt out. Weird fact, the fire started in mine and Pedro's old room. It started right where his bed was. weird.

What it looked like before filming

WOW! I didn't realize MTV fixed up the houses that much. That's crazy.
