What have you given up on concerning changing your husband to be...
i know, i know, don't go into a marriage thinking you are going to change your man. i don't think i will change him, however, there are some habits that i would love for him to modify, to say it nicely...things like bringing glasses down from the bedroom and putting them in the dishwasher or oh, i don't know, putting dirty clothes in the hamper rather than on the floor!!! i guess i have given up on these battles. i love him and his habits, but they still drive me to insanity. like how he reads me the paper over breakfast (like i can't read!) i know that there will be a day that i will wish to god that he would read me the paper, but at the same time, he drives me crazy...but only in the most awesome wonderful fantastic way!

I said mess, but if he changes then I have to as well! We’re both really messy, and we always fight about who's messier!
We can’t leave the toilet seat up because we have a kitty who likes to go for swims!

I didn't vote because I couldn't pick just one!!! The way he eats and the way he spends his money. Now I just leave him what I don't need for bills and try not to care how he wastes it. The way he eats, I give up, but I still have to say something every once in a while. Most nights I half expect him to put the plate to his face and start shoveling in a la the Beast from Beauty and the Beast.

How OCD he is! Not really but he is such a neat freak. You can eat off the floors in our house and heaven forbid I leave a stack of magazines out. But I guess that is better than him being messy.

We just had this conversation at work:
I too love my DH very much, but here are a few of the things that DRIVE me INSANE:
1. Fireman pants on the floor (he just leaves them there like he may have to run off at any given time.
2. Passing gas. This is a big one. I swear all he does is fart and burp (This is diet related he is doing atkins)
3. Chewing his finger nails
4. The fact that he wakes up EARLY EVERY day of the week!
5. Snoring (out of control)
LOL>>>I feel like a married a monster! But oh, how I do love him!

Keith once looked me right in the eyes while I was talking to him and then closed his eyes and fell asleep WHILE I WAS STILL TALKING. Considering the absolute rage I threw at him, he probably wont do that again.
