Not that I know of. Maybe you're thinking of Toblerone?

IMO, fruit cake gets a bad rap, but it's seriously good stuff!!!

Ohh, I like Panetone. I think I've only had it once though. It was more cakelike then what I picture Fruit Cake as. Usually that just seems like a brick. FIL loves it though. He's the only one I know.

I'd like to try hot buttered rum too! And Figgy Pudding just sounds so Christmasy and Olde English!

Speaking of olde English...Last year being my first christmas in England, I had to have mince pies (which are much smaller than you think) and Christmas cakes - which is fruit cake soaked in rum or brandy...it's amazing how much better the booze makes it!

And by the way....pudding doesn't necessarily mean what we think it means....

Like blood pudding!

So, if Figgy Pudding like blood pudding (I just couldn't even make myself try that stuff!!) UGGG!!

Ew! They use pudding as an all encompassing word to describe dessert...it doesn't necessarily have to be pudding (which I think they would call custard)...it gets pretty confusing at times

Then how come pudding also means sausage? Are you supposed to eat that for dessert? I kind of like black pudding, but I was fed it at an early age, so I didn't know any better.
I've had mince pie.. . also not fan.

Every year my father makes Scottish dumpling, which is kind og like a steamed fruit cake with extra fat ( years ago, my grandmother changed the recipe to substitute Crisco for the lard ) & then the fatty fruit cake slices are fried in bacon fat for breakfast. yum!

Eta

I think Figgy Pudding may be a bit like bread pudding. Maybe
Figgy pudding recipe
