Just want some opionion of people who have already been there and are planning to go. I cant decide. So far im thinking the Hyatt or Occidental.

We're not going for the honeymoon, but we're actually going next month for vacation. His parent's have a time share at the Marriot and they love it. Go every year. This will be my first time.

We were there twice last year. Hyatt is gorgous! Radisson is also amazing! Good luck!

FH and I have always wanted to go to Aruba, but one of the TA that I talked to said there isn't anything romantic about it, but I find that hard to believe. I have to go on the websites of the hotels/resorts you all mentioned.

we just got back from our travel agent and he said that if u drink u need to get all inclusive he said the drinks can get very expensive-with us drinking especially lol

There are pros and cons for all the hotels
We stayed at our timeshare to save $ and for us it worked out great. some people would not like that because its geared toward older folks...for us it was quiet and relaxing
Renaissance is great but its in the middle of downtown Orenjestad.
Up by the Palm beach area, hotels are usually more party oriented and crowded....some are family heavy with kids running around.
I've found lots of info on Aruba from this website....it also has virtual tours of many hotels Aruba forum

We stayed in Palm Beach at the Wyndham (which is now the Westin) I believe. We did not do AI because we wanted to be able to eat at the fabulous restaurants in Aruba. There are so many wonderful places to eat at. I have written a lot about them in my review, in case anyone wants more info.

I went to Aruba a few summers ago and we stayed at the Divi...it was absolutely gorgeous and AI. I will only go AI because you have the option of leaving to go to a nice dinner, but you dont have to eat out for every meal and spend $50 everyday on breakfast! If you want any Aruba info - let me know!

I saw it and it looks amazing but im kinda scared that it only opening in july 07. I have doubts if they will be up and running good.

I absolutely love RIU resorts. My Fh and I always use them when we are doing all inclusive vacations. They arent well known yet but they will be soon. They usually have different restaurants within the hotel that are different ethnic foods. The entertainment changes every night and its a lively place to stay...by the pool by the beaches it more private.
I dont know about the one in aruba but I know that heir other resorts are great.

The riu looks beatiful but the only thing that scared me was it said it isnt opening until july 07.
