i couldnt find a nassau spca number so i called the suffolk one.
this cruelty was in westbury.

Well, my dad says that nothing was ever done. It did get better for a while but now theres only 1 dog alive and he was out all day with ice frozen on his face. Why my dad waited till last night to tell me is beyond me.

So last night i called the suffolk one again and they said there's nothing they can do. They didnt have the nassau phone number. I kept googling found 2 numbers but both were out of service. I called my police precinct and they seem uninterested. (not their job as they stated).

THEN I WENTO ONTO LIF AND SAW MSMBV AND FM'ED HER. Within minutes she fmed me a few numberss and 1 worked. SO SHOUTOUT TO MSMBV FOR BEING A TREMENDOUS HELP

I called the westbury spca and gave my complaint. The receptionist typed everything i said and said id get a call in the morning. well, there was no way i was able to sleep and was going to go there and give the dog a blanket.
the spca called me back within minutes and i was on the phone with them till they got to the place and they took the dog back with them

they told me they are going to try this as a criminal case and they will be calling me back again to get a more full detailed report. I told them to please tell me when the dog is adoptable so i can post it on here and if he goes to a kill shelter(which they assured me they wouldnt do), my fh's father will take him in.

so thats what i did last night between 11-1am

You know, sometimes I feel and care so much more for animals than people. I know that is mean to say but an animal cannot help themself and a human can.

This man deserves to do jail time and/or have someone treat him the way he treated the dogs. I am so happy you stepped in and helped. You are a great and very caring person. I too could never let something like that go on knowing it.

Thank you so much for doing that. Now that poor dog will go to a good family who will treat him like s/he deserves. And--good that they're treating it as a criminal case. They should! It is criminal.

I'm so happy to hear that there are people out there like you and your dad that really care. I'm a dog lover myself and it makes me burn when i hear some of the cruel things that humans can do to animals. Good karma will come your way.

As a 'crazy dog person,' which is what my FH calls me, I was moved by what you went thru to help that dog! Nothing pisses me off more than when people leave their 'pets' outside in the bitter cold. As a NYC police officer, there were a few instances that I needed to 'reinstruct' owners about the proper care of their dog. I happily report that I have locked up one man for animal cruelty.

You did a very humane and wonderful thing. Great job!!
