So yesterday afternoon my friend Mike and I went to buy his gf her ering!!! I had the greatest time doing this! I was sooo exciting to look at all the diamonds and the settings...I kinda wish fh would have taken me for mine...but then it wouldnt have been a surprise. Did any of you ladies pick out your own ring???

He only knew I wanted a round diamond. Everything else he did as a surprise (even the size he got right) and I love it!

that sounds like soo much fun!!!!
FH's sister took me ering shopping and i had made a top 3 list and she knew the ranking order-i wanted to be surpised by what ring fh picked out. The next day she took him to show him the rings that i picked out and he made his choice, he chose the #1 ring

oh that sounds like fun!!
I didnt get to pick my ering...he did show me though a bunch of different pictures of rings and said that one of those could possibly be my ring and if i wanted to know i had to figure it out...well I thought it was going to be a simple solitare but I was totally wrong lol

we used to play around on blue nile and design rings together so he already had an idea of settings and cuts i liked.

he picked it out all by himself, and he did amazing. he bought the ring is august and we didnt get engaged till november.

nick bought my ring in march and didnt propose till december 31st. he had it hidden at his moms apartment so i wouldnt ever find it.

I picked out my ering FH knew I wanted something very simple and small with a roundstone, but I still helped pick it out!

Fh kept teasing me about my ring, which I thought he had already-but wasn't 100% sure, but then his sister confirmed that he had it-by accident, he kept it for 2 months before proposing, which is crazy for him because he is sooo impatient

omg...thats crazy...I know myself I wouldnt be able to keep it a secret for that long...If I buy fh somthing for his bday or christmas...I cant even keep that a secret from him...

when my mother upgraded her ring i took her old band and put my birthstone in it..i told FH i wanted my ering to use this band so i knew the band but he picked out the diamond. he told me he went looking because he couldnt hold it in and he bought it in february and was supposed to do it on our cruise in may but ended up proposing about 6 days later

I designed mine. FH thinks that since I have to wear it for the rest of my life that I should pick it out. It was lots of fun. Plus, I know my diamonds before I was on here I was on Pricescope. He didn't just stand there though together wed both designed it and it was great. I cannot wait to go bands (were having two bands) shopping with him since we will probably get custom work.

I kinda dont wish .. im always picking out everything i like and finally he did !!! I love love love my ring its so unique ive never seen anyone with iot which i love ... and everyone who sees it is just in awwww.....

i dont know how they could wait so long! i roles were reversed i wouldnt be able to hold on to the ring that long without saying something! lol

I didnt know what my ring would look like. We went ring shopping and I tried on a bunch of rings so Benny knew what I liked. He ended up designing it so it was definetly something I never saw and I love it!!!

I designed the exact ring I wanted on Blue Nile, printed it our and gave it to FH. When the time came, he took it to the jeweler and found it in a book.
