That's so weird and sneaky!! But I have to say that a lot of my stuff went on sale at some point before my shower. The rest stayed the same.

Yep, they don't guarantee the prices at the time of your registry. My stuff has gone on and off sale constantly!

Thank goodness I had my shower before Fortunoff's put almost all my things back to regular price. I would have never gotten my sheets if they weren't on sale

I think they just raised the prices in general. My wedding is not until September but some of the stuff went up a little.

i never got but when i was at the registry there turning in the gun some lady had one and asked if it can be used for everything. it got mailed to her home

Its possible that some items are on sale at the time and later go back to regular price. I bought items off of Fortunoff registries before and noticed this. Which is normal. All stores do this.

Nope prices on my stuff were the same for the 8 months i registered and went up only 3 weeks or so ago since people have started buying. Wierd.

that is odd Jenn, especially since all your friends have noticed it also. Are you all getting married around the same time?? I was wondering if the sale prices do not effect the on-line registry? And if you go into the store and the item is on sale, why isn't it on sale on the registry?? I have a sneaky suspicion that the stores raise the prices of the china and houseware items prior to spring because they know wedding season is coming.

No we have all been married different times. They told me this & when I saw it I was like Maybe its just us but we found it all to happen to us & it's wierd. Anyway, I still love Fortunoff's

No, they'll just tell you to read the terms of your agreement when you registered. Prices aren't guaranteed.

I've noticed that the prices have gone up and they came back down again. One of my sheet sets were half price, then went to full price, now they are half again. People are starting to buy now so hopefully the prices stay where they are. It's hard to tell when you register for someting there and it's on sale. Usually it stays on sale for awhile.
