You were given two choices to have your wedding. One choice is in this BEAUTIFUL places. You know you'll get beauitful pictures and it would make your day just so specail. The only catch is, its far away and most of your guest won't be able to come. Now choice two, is having your wedding nearer to your home, where most of your guest could come to. But it isn't going to be as beautiful as you hoped. What would you do?

Re: What if....
Have it where people can attend. The pictures are about you and DH and you will look just as good at any place. You can get pictures of pretty scenery any day of the week

Re: What if....
I'd go with what YOU want hands down, no matter what that means.
If I'd made our wedding more accessable to everyone, I would've ended up doing a destination wedding in VA or something so everyone traveled the same distance...some people had to travel 20 minutes, some had to travel 15-20 hours [by car]. People who truly want to be there and can, will come NO MATTER WHERE you hold it. In reality, we had a better ratio of OOT guests to in-town guests attend. The in-town guests had other obligations where our OOT guests made sure in advance to plan nothing else for our wedding date and said 'sorry' to anything that came up.

Re: What if....
You have to see what is important.
But think of this.... why do you want to have the super gorgeous wedding if you have noone to celebrate with?
If the number of guests is not that important and the guests YOU REALLY WANT THERE can make it to the very pretty place, then go for it.
I would try to find hall #3 for an happy medium.

Re: What if....
I would do the one that I want, It will be nice if everyone you invited can come but YOUR day is still going to be special no matter what and you would want you memories of YOUR day to be everything you wanted, so I chose the beautiful place

Bonnie, I think you should choose what you and your honey want the most. If it was me, I would choose a beautiful place JMO. Good luck on what you decide.

Re: What if....
girls thank you. Here is what happened. My invites haven't gone out because I've been having a problem with getting a place. I got a GREAT offer though upstate. This guy bought 100 acres for this medieval villege hes starting. I thought it was a gift. BUT its really far away. He told me I could have it there for free if he could use my pictures of adveristing, which I'm more than fine with. But today of all days, (I just printed the darn invites and was going to mail them tomorrow with a phone rsvp) my mom calls me telling me to have the wedding at the park her and my dad got married at (they are now divorsed) she even offered to pay for a lot of stuff I need help with if I do this. So I choose to do what she asked. I'm tired of the stress. thanks girls!!!
