What if the time comes and you don't have enough $ saved from the wedding.
What are your options? Parents Loan etc?
(Obv. $ is the topic on my mind today lol)

FH parents said they would help IF the people they said that wouldn't come DO. otherwise, we'd probably need some kind of loan

My parents gave me a set amount of money to spend, if I go over it it comes from my wedding (hopefully turned upgrade to a bigger house) fund and if I go over that I have no idea, I think I am just screwed lol.

FH's parents offered to pay for part of the wedding. We explained that while that is very generous, we would prefer to pay for it ourselves (make our own choices, ya know) and my parents are unable to contribute so it wouldn't be fair. We asked that if they still felt like they wanted to give us the money, they could do so after the wedding as a gift. If it gets bad at the end, we'd have to ask for a bit of the money early. I can't foresee it being that much though.

ask my uncle. he offered to loan me sum money & i told him i would ask only as a last resort.

not sure I guess both sets of our parents....maybe also my SIL (i'd hate to do that but I know that her & her husband would lend us the $$$$) I would do practically ANYTHING to avoid taking out a loan.

for real?? if we couldnt come up with the money??? i cant see myself asking anyone for money... mayeb FH could ask his mom. hopefully NONE of us have to resort to asking anyone! even a bank!!!

FH is not paying for the wedding, I am so he will have to take money out of savings to help! I already need him to tkae care of rings, tips and the rd dinner!
