What, if anything, have you learned about the DH since the wedding?

Now that we're all married for at least a few months

This might be more applicable to those who didn't live together (for long or at all) before marriage.

he still can't say p enis without . even now that it's beyond evident we've done the deed, he still acts like it's taboo to discuss. in fact, he'd die if he read this. that's why i love him, he's super squeemish to this stuff!

on a more serious note:

his heart just gets bigger every day.

I have learned a lot about DH since we are married.

He still can't get the concept that dirty laundry needs to go in the hamper & not on the floor.

The toilet seat does not need to remain up at all hours (I have sat on a nice cold toilet at 2am)

On the serious side:

He has truly showed me how emotional & vulnerable he can be. I never knew he had this side until recently.

He helps me do the dishes every night as he shows his appreciation for me cooking a nice meal.

Here we are 1 year tomorrow!!!!!!

There are still things we are learning together, but the things I learn about him are just little corky things. So they aren't major. Well I guess the one thing would be that he takes a really long time in the shower! It drives me crazy!

But seriously, we are having a wonderful marriage and things couldn't be any better. We do things together, like cooking and cleaning, we share it all. He doesn't like to vaccum, so I do and he does the dishes because I hate the dishes. So in the end it works out for both of us. He even makes me my lunch in the morning. It's so cute! We love being married!

I learned that marriage means men have amnesia when it comes to using house hold appliances that they once used before. For example: dishwashers, washing machines, even toasters!! I also learned he would do anything to make me happy.

its only been a month, but DH and i didn't live together beforehand....sooo

--i've learned he can't stand for anything to be on the floor, out of place.

--he's addicted to vacuuming and using the dust buster

--he knows how to wake up, shower, get ready for work super quiet ninja style--as not to wake me

--he really does have a soft spot for cats (as my kitty came with the pkge), whether he wants to admit it or not

--he snores so bad, i wonder if the neighbors can hear

I've learned:

*The man can survive on bagels and cream cheese
*He believes that marriage = torture because he lives to tickle me
*He can really handle someone who can be irrational and ill-tempered (me )

That he likes:

Professional Wrestling

Mel Brooks Movies

Soup

and that he becomes catatonic in front of a television set.

I'm always finding out new things about him that I never knew before!! And we lived together for a while before our wedding!!

Most recently I learned that he used to work with a guy who was an extra in Goodfellas.

Something he learned about me is that I used to be a tour guide in college.

I think it keeps the relationship fresh and interesting, but it is kind of weird to be with a group of people and say to your DH 'really, I didn't know that!'.

I've learned not to bother him on Sundays during football season and that nothing can get done on Sundays during football season

Also he really likes Star Wars Movies

He can survive on Granola Bars and Lean Pockets

I've learned that he is more of a neat freak then me and if I can't find the Windex its a guarantee that he is somewhere in the house using it...

he loves to make the alarm go off at least six times before getting out of bed....

he is AMAZING at folding clothes, but still needs some work when it comes to the sheets...

he talks to our dog as if he is human when he doesn't think I am listening....

he loves celebrity gossip almost as much as me...

he hates to hang things on the wall for me and loses it when I say 'get the hammer!'
