What inspired the style/decor of your wedding?

A flower, your ring, a picture?

I was inspired by this purse. I loved the old Hollywood glamour of it. I loved the sparkle and the look of the feathers, it's so unexpected yet chic.

I was inspired by the season and Halloween.... we are both very fun and both very non-traditional. FH hates going to weddings so I wanted ours to be super fun and different and totally us. That was my inspiration!! Oh and I love pumpkins and the colors and dressing up.

The RH then FH...I originally wanted to do all black and whie but there are a lot of gold tones in the room so I decided to use champagne but the other colors were up in the air for a while. I would always make suggestions to FH and he would say 'whatever you want, its your day' When I asked FH what he thought of burgandy he actually responded to it...I was happy he liked the color so thats how I chose my color scheme

For my graduation party I had two color schemes that I wanted to use....I decided to pick one for the grad party and leave the other one for the wedding. I originally got the idea from a magazine article that said jewel colors are 'in season' so I started thinking of my favorite jewel colors like ruby, amethyst...etc.... I wanted a regal look.

I was inspired by v-day because it's exactly a week after my wedding....so im doing pink and red!

The colors of fall.... love them all. They're so warm, they just make you feel so good. Also, Halloween is such a fun day so I want that fun feeling reflected throughout the wedding!

I'm doing all different shades of blue. It was inspired by the RH and it's also FH's favorite color. I added pale pinks and cream colors for me!

I got inspire by a bk that I saw I never though of those two color together until I saw the roses

i love the ocean. i was born in st. thomas, where my dad worked as a fisherman. i've lived in south shore beachy towns for most of my life, and as a teacher, i live @ robert moses during the summer. not to mention, fh and i fell in love on fire island, sort of. seagrass, daisies, starfish, ribbons, seashells, tiki torches, pearls--i get all warm and fuzzy inside just thinking about it!
