I was reading on another board where this girl said that she had a chemical pregnancy, being new and all I did not want to pry, seeing that it might be a sore spot. Thanks

oh i do!
a chemical pregnancy - or phantom pregnancy is when the pregnancy doesn't 'stick' - implantation never happens. it's technically a form of miscarriage but most often happens EXTREMELY early on - like right after conception. So a lot of women will test positive, and then start testing negative.
A few women on board here have had this. My girlfriend did as well and now has a healthy 4 week old boy.
